Although this is one of Craig's earlier works, it still stands visually modern as the building is fundamentally stripped of any architectural ornamentation. This provides to its brutal & industrial aesthetics; yet maintaining a timeless dynamism.
Craig's main concern in the early design stages was the availability of natural ventilation and lighting into what could potentially turn out to be another cold and dead industrial building. Thus he incorporated into the design the winning touch: a soaring wing-like roof structure that acts both as a skylight and air vent. It is this special human connection stemming from Craig's designs that transforms his buildings into warm and comfortable spaces.
