Dhuruptji Aboriginal housing
This is a very interesting project
that comes close to the heart for Craig. Housing development for aboriginals
have long been difficult, as many of these communities live in rural areas
and therefore much effort and money is required to create even the simplest
of structures. Thus, Craig proposed this solution of creating modern yet
simple units of housing with modular fiberglass units which can be easily
made by the aboriginals themselves on site. Not only is this idea a self-sustaining
one, the units also take into account important factors such as heat regulation
and water tanking.
