When architect Craig Rossetti moved into the space a couple of years ago, there was little light. Designed as a factory, the building's main feature was a loading bay at the front. 'The building occupied almost the entire site.
There was no rear yard and customers walked directly into the space.

While the office is open plan, the front reception, conference room and small office allow for private meetings. These rooms face directly onto the street yet the translucent glass and a planter box creates sufficient privacy. The office is shared, there is no hierachy. People come and go and expences are shared.

Rossetti says, 'Most people find working on their own quite lonely. With this design, there's always people coming and going, you never feel as if you're working in a harsh urban environment. There's greenery and a sense of outdoors'.
