This house is located on a remote island. Thus, one problem needed to be tackled was the strong salt laden sea breezes. To add to complication, the architect was posed with a short lead time and restricted budget.As a solution, timber achieves open light-weight space.The material use blends in with surrounding natives and teatrees. This solution is not only cost efficient, it also emphasizes the dramatic use of timber.
